Message Recovery – Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Deleted Recovery ("the app"), made by Divya Hirpara ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. License

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These terms add to that agreement. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies.

2. What the app does

The app reads chat export files that you create with your messaging app and share with it, and keeps their messages and attachments in an archive on your device. When you import a chat again, messages that were removed since your last import stay in the archive and are marked as recovered.

3. What the app cannot do

The app can only show messages contained in exports you gave it. It cannot read other apps' data or notifications, and it cannot recover a message that was deleted before you exported the chat. We make no promise that any particular message or file will be recovered.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the chats you import and for having the right to keep and view them. Use the app in line with the law and with other people's privacy. Don't use it to access conversations you aren't part of or aren't allowed to see.

5. Backups and data

Your archive lives only on your device. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. If you protect a backup with a passphrase and lose it, the file can't be opened, by you or by us.

6. Other apps and services

The app can open other apps installed on your device, such as your messaging app, at your request. Those apps are provided by third parties under their own terms. Deleted Recovery is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any messaging service. Third-party names belong to their owners.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, messages or files, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
